Rhoodles?!! Not a word you will find in the dictionary, because it is a made up to describe the literary equivalent of the lines and swirls you draw on the back of an envelope when your mind is otherwise occupied. Rhoodles have no unifying purpose, in fact no purpose at all. The only thing they have in common, as the name suggests is an extensive use of rhyme. So there you are... a rhoodle is a doodle in rhyme. If you thought it was going to be raunchy you have an unreserved apology.
For the author rhoodling is a repetitive compulsive disorder. For no particular reason and with very little warning, He feels compelled to write scraps of verse. Even more alarming and embarrassing for his nearest and dearest is his habit of reciting them in public.
